More than three decades later, our growing global footprint allows us to deliver world-class assembly solutions to over 100 automotive customers in more than 35 countries.
Jendamark specialises in building powertrain, catalytic converter, electric vehicle and other automotive component assembly systems for global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and their Tier 1 suppliers.
In 2008, Jendamark took the strategic decision to move from focusing on the local South African market to exporting internationally competitive machines. To serve the European market more effectively, the Company opened a sales office in Penzing, Germany, in 2013.
Two years later, Jendamark India launched its full-scale manufacturing facility in Pune, and quickly set about delivering high-performance, cost-effective automation and digital manufacturing solutions for the Asian market, serving the burgeoning EV sector as well as specialist tooling for the aerospace industry.
In 2023, we established our USA presence in the Detroit suburb of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Our Origin Story
In 1985, budding entrepreneur Quinton Uren started a small side business offering design and detailing services to engineering firms in the coastal city of Port Elizabeth in South Africa.
By 1992, his start-up, Nasquin Designs, had taken off and joined forces with Jendamark Electronic Component Industries – combining their synergies in software, electrical, electronic and mechanical design. And Jendamark Automation was born.
ODIN Origins
With the rise of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), we recognised the need to help our customers digitalise their factories, and developed our ODIN digital solutions, which are designed to improve production efficiencies and optimise shopfloor task management.
